TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 26-01-2021
NHW-44
Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road condition only stranded vehicles between Ramban and Jawahar Tunnel shall be allowed towards Srinagar including Ramban-Banihal (local traffic).
No vehicle shall be allowed from Jammu or Udhampur towards Srinagar
Note:- The weight bearing capacity of installed bailey bridge is less than 40 metric ton
SFs Convoy Movement
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and narrowness of Bailey bridge. They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW.
No vehicle shall be allowed in the opposite direction.
NOTE- On 29-01-2021 Friday , there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW.
MUGHAL ROAD
Mughal road closed due to snow accumulation.
SSG ROAD
SSG road closed by the J&K Govt. vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.
ADVISORY
People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
