Army trooper injured in Jammu And Kashmir

Pulwama Encounter: Army trooper injured, operation continues

Srinagar, April 27:(GNS) An army trooper was injured in an ongoing encounter at Mitrigam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.

A top police officer told GNS that during intial exchange of firing one army soldier recieved minor injury. He has been removed to a hospital where is condition is said to stable.

Earlier a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation on a specific input.

As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the target spot, the hiding militants fired upon the joint forces leading to an encounter.(GNS)
